Quad Seal Bags
Quad Seal Bags, as the name suggests has 4 sides that are sealed. Quad seal bags are a cost effective bag able to produce a flat bottom base by using a “K-seal” base seam – it is produced from one piece of material which allows for optional printing of the sides of the bag without the requirement of additional plates (as per a flat bottom pouch design). As such, it provides more space to provide product information and capitalise on additional branding opportunities. The bag’s design has side gussets making the bag expandable to hold increased product volume. The bag provides good stability and stands easier than a standard gusset bag and it requires less width to volume ratio than a stand-up pouch design, so you can fit more product within a smaller packaging footprint. The reinforced structural design and the quad sealed sides make them sturdy and ideal to support heavier products.
They are commonly used in many packaging applications for teas, coffees, or all range of food items and bulk pet food packages where the heavier product weights require the sturdy design of the quad seal bag.
A significant range of substrate lamination combinations are available to provide optimum barrier from oxygen and water vapour transmission thus providing ideal product preservation and achieving shelf life goals.
