What is Anti-Microbial Film ?
In simplist terms it is a film that inhibits and effectively destroys bacteria that comes into contact with it.
Bacteria require humidity in order thrive and proliferate. Anti-microbial films are waterproof such that they form a barrier against humidity. In addition, within the structure of the anti-microbial film the top layer contains silver ions which blocks the bacteria’s ability to replicate – effectively destroying 99.9% of bacteria on the film’s surface. ( ISO 22196 Certified Tested)
So what does this mean ? The film is an effective highly hygienic surface protectant providing an optimal solution to stop the spread and eliminate any cross contamination of bacteria from one person to the next which is ideal especially when the film is utilised in high – multi-user scenarios.
